Teaser Tuesday #3 - The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa
Hi!
First of all I'm sorry that I've posted so little. But at the moment I'm verry bussy, but I will try to post as much as possible.
This week I've a teaser off the Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa.
I was in love. With a human. I smiled bitterly at the thought. The old Ash, if faced with such a suggestion, would've either laughed scornfully or removed the offender's head from his neck. I'd known love before, and it had brought me so much pain that I had retreated behind an impenetrable wall of indifference, freezing out everything, everyone. So it had been shocking and unexpected and a little terrifying to discover I could still feel anything, and I'd been reluctant to accept it.

The creature's arm, as well as it dozens of hands, were thrown up to protect it, and it cringed back as the Wolf bared his teeth and went for its throat. I lunged forward, slamming my shoulder into the Wolf's head, knocking him aside with a furious yelp. He turned on me with a snarl, and suddenly Puck was there, daggers drawn, standing beside me. Together, we formed a wall between the Wolf and his intended victim, who scurried away on multiple hands and vanished under a building.

Teaser Tuesday #2 - The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa
Hi!
This week I'm reading The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa so here is the teaser.
Leanansidhe pursed her lips. “You two are pressing the boundaries of my patience.” She drummed her nails on the armrest and sighed. “Oh, very well, darlings. I have a quaint little hideaway that I can lend you for the time being. It’s out in the middle of nowhere and fairly safe— I’ve got a few of the local trows keeping an eye on it. Will that be good enough for you, dove?”

Between the knights, almost hidden in the tall grass, a potato-faced gnome stepped forward and bent forward at the waist. “Meghan Chase,” he greeted in a surprisingly deep voice, stiff and formal like a butler. “Your father, Lord Oberon, sends his greetings.”
I felt a flicker of annoyance. Oberon had no right to claim me as his daughter. Not after disowning me in front of the entire freaking court. Crossing my arms, I glared down at the gnome. “You wanted to see me. Here I am. What does Oberon want now?”

Teaser Tuesday #1 - The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
Hi!
I finally found the time to start my blog so here is the first post. Every Tuesday I am going to post a teaser from a book. And this week the teaser comes from The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
As the minutes stretched, I cast anxious glances at the trees and the forest, expecting the chief or the goblin horde to come bursting through. The lone guard stalked the perimeter of the camp, shooting me an evil look as it walked by and triggering Grimalkin’s vanishing act. Finally, on the eighth or ninth circle, Grimalkin’s voice floated up after the guard had passed.

When I opened my eyes again, the night sky had disappeared, replaced by a ceiling of solid ice. I realized we were traveling underground. The air grew even colder as the tunnel opened up into a magnificent ice cavern, glistening with a jagged, alien beauty. Huge icicles dripped from the ceiling, some longer than I was tall and wickedly sharp. It was a tad disturbing passing under those bristling spikes, watching them sparkle like crystal chandeliers, praying they wouldn’t fall.
