If she was being treated like an honored guest, she realized how much was expected of her, that she would either cure the king of his curse of convince James that she did.

 

She closed her eyse for a moment to remind herself that she was no longer that beleaguered little girl subject to her mother's mad ambitions. Even nightmares had to come to an end.
