Here is my review for between that I wrote I while ago. I just hadn't the time to upload it, but here it is finaly.
Short description
Elizabeth Valchar-pretty, popular, and perfect-wakes up the morning after her eighteenth birthday party on her family's yacht, where she'd been celebrating with her six closest friends. A persistent thumping noise has roused her. When she goes to investigate, what she finds will change everything she thought she knew about her life, her friends, and everything in between. As Liz begins to unravel the circumstances surrounding her birthday night, she will find that no one around her, least of all Liz herself, was perfect-or innocent. Critically acclaimed author Jessica Warman brings readers along on a roller-coaster ride of a mystery, one that is also a heartbreaking character study, a touching romance, and ultimately a hopeful tale of redemption, love, and letting go.
My opinion
Looking at
your own dead body, that isn’t something that you would ever thought possible. But
it happened to Liz… on her 18th birthday.
From then
on the story was very intriguing. Why did she die? And most of all why is there
only one person who can she her. A boy who died a year ago through a hit and
run accident. While Liz tries to find back her memories the story develops in unexpected
ways. True some plotlines were predictable, but other events I had never seen coming.
The characters to developed during the book. In the beginning Liz seemed
shallow and a bitch, but in the end she won a place in my heart. And it was the
same with all the other characters. The story only got better with every page I
turned.
So Between
was a very good story with a well-developed plotline and well worked out
characters. Definitely a must read for
anyone who likes reading YA with a bit of mystery.
