With one look, I’m his . . .
With one touch, he’s mine . . .
With one kiss, it changes everything between us . . .
I’ve been famous since I can remember. Singing, acting, dancing—I’ve done it all. The tabloids cover my every move, but I don’t want that anymore. I want to be normal, whatever that is.
When I leave Hollywood for college in Vermont, I’m on my own for the first time in my life. This is my chance to figure out who I am and what I want in life.
But it’s a lot harder than I expected. I can’t escape my image. Classes are difficult, and I’m struggling. And then there’s Caleb Fox.
Sexy, intriguing Caleb Fox.
Caleb is the one man who doesn’t want to use me. He breaks down my walls. He challenges me. He wants me. And I just don’t know if I can give him the same—or if he’ll stick around when he finds out my shameful secret that the tabloids haven’t managed to uncover.
Dating him is risky enough, but loving him could break me.
Stay With Me follows the life of eighteen year old Hailey Bloom when she decides to leave her famous life behind. Instead she goes to college in the hope of living a normal life out of the spotlight. For the first time in her life she wants to do something for herself and not for her mother, her publicists, her fans…, just for her. And in the process she hopes to find out who she really is.
Surprisingly enough she’s able to lead a fairly normal life when she arrives at college. Sure there are some people who want her just because she’s famous, but most of them leave her alone. And that’s what she wants no distractions, that is until she meets Caleb Fox. He’s not just any distraction, he’s the distraction. A nice and very attractive young guy that she can’t get out of her head.Stay With Me is a book about finding yourself, falling in love and friendship. Besides Caleb Hailey meets other nice guys and girls who have her back at any time. She learns that there are real friends that will never let you down no matter what and that not everyone is like her so called-friends in Hollywood. This book shows you exactly what people always mean when they say that famous people are just people like you and me. They too can make mistakes in their life just like you and me so we shouldn’t criticize them because of it.
I really liked this book. Elyssa Patrick has a very nice writing style and her plotline is good, so it’s quiet impossible to put it down. True it’s pretty predictable from the very beginning, but that doesn’t take away that it was a great book. Can’t wait for the other books in the series!
