Top Ten Tuesday #2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted over at Broke and Bookish. This weeks is : Top Ten Most Intimidating Books .

Anna KareninaLooking for Alaska The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings, #2)

  1. Anna Karenina - Leo Tolstoj: I've wanted to read this one for a while now, but it's just so thick that I'm scared that I'll never get through it.
  2. Looking for Alaska - John Green: After reading TFIOS I'm afraid that this book will disappoint me because, TFIOS was just perfect.
  3. The Two Towers - J.R.R. Tolkien: I've read the first book of the trilogy a few years ago and while I loved it, it took me some time to read it. So I'm afraid to start this one because it's so thick.
The Casual VacancyThe Notebook 1984

  1. The Casual Vacancy - J.K. Rowling: This book is just so different than the HP series. And I'm afraid that I will compare this two to much.
  2. The Notebook - Nicholas Sparks: I love the movies based on his novels so much, so I'm afraid that I won't like the books as much as the movies
  3. 1984 - George Orwell: This one has been standing on my TBR for ages. I don't really know why I haven't read it yet, I think that I would find it to abstract or something like that.

  1. Looking for Alaska is actually my favorite of John Green's books, so you should give it a try. Or maybe, I read that one first and loved it so much... either way.. great book. Casual Vacancy should have been on my list. Kinda scared of new Rowling books, especially hefty adult ones.

    1. I still want to read Looking for Alaska because it's by John Green. I'm mean I think that it's quiet impossible for him to write a terrible book. I get what you mean about new Rowling books it scares the hell out of me, it even took me a while to put it on my TBR!

  2. Oh my gosh, I LOVE The Notebook! I actually like a lot of his books more than the movies (like The Last Song), so I hope you enjoy them too! Great list :)

    2. I just finished reading The Notebook and did not care for it, its actually the first of his that I liked the movie more. A couple of my favorites of his are The Best of Me, The Choice, and The Last Song. The Casual Vacancy was one that took me forever to get through, but the ending sold me on the book! J.K. Rowling is great!!!
