Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful day with your families. This week has been really good. On Thursday I exchanged gifts with my boyfriend since he couldn't come home with me for Christmas. And then on Friday evening I left for Belgium and I am here for a whole week so it should be really nice. So far it seems like all I have done is gone from one Christmas dinner to the next and have too much food. But it has been a really good time so far.

Guy's it is only one week until Christmas! How did time go by so fast? I really cannot believe that it is that time of the year again already. I am so exited for it since I will be going home on Friday and I will stay in Belgium for a week so that should be fun. I finally finished all my Christmas shopping this week so now I am fully prepared for it.

Another pretty busy week came to an end. During the week it was fine, I went to a concert on Tuesday and that was about it. But at the moment my sister is here in London for a visit, she's been here since Friday and she will be staying until tomorrow. Yesterday we went to visit Cambridge and today visits to some Christmasmarkets in London are planned. It's been a lot of fun but I also need some much needed rest.

This was so busy on Tuesday I went ice skating with some friends in the evening. I hadn't done it in years but it was good fun. Then on Wednesday evening I went to another concert. On Friday I had a Christmas party from work, we had a dinner on a boat that was on the River Thames, the view was so nice! On Saturday one of my friends had her birthday so we went out for drinks to celebrate and then today I went ice skating again but this time with my boyfriend, it was his first time on the ice and it was pretty funny to watch. On the downside I came down with a pretty bad cold so I haven't done much reading last week. Hopefully it will be better this week!

This week went by in a flash again. On Thursday I went to the movies with some friends and we went to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I loved that movie, J.K. Rowling really knows how to create a magical world! Other than that I didn't do much this week. I decided to take a lazy weekend since the next ones will be pretty hectic up until the end of the year basically. And it also gave me some time to catch up with reading. I finally started to read the Percy Jackson series and I am really addicted to them!

The other week I went to this discount bookstore in London called The Works and I picked up some really good books. I still cannot believe I got all of these for less than £2 each. It's a real bargain!

I cannot believe that is Sunday again already. Seriously time passes way too quickly an I feel like I should have twice as much time to do everything that I want to do. Like last week work was pretty hectic again. So when I got home in the evening I was often too tired too read. But on Thursday evening I went to a comedy night with some friends and it was the perfect way to unwind. On Saturday I wanted to start with my Christmas shopping, I knew that it might be a bit early for that, but I could not find anything that I wanted to buy. Then in the evening I went to the movies with my boyfiend. We went to see Doctor Strange and it was a pretty good movie, mostly just because I love Benedict Cumberbatch. He's such an amazing actor. And then today I am planning on meeting with a friend who is here in Londn for a short holiday break with her boyfriend. So all in all not a bad week.

This week went by so fast. Work was really hectic since some people of the team had fallen ill unfortunately and it doesn't seem like it will be any better the upcoming week. But I also had some really fun times. On Friday night I went out for dinner with my boyfriend and some friends and then on Saturday evening I went to another concert and it was just amazing. Then today a friend from Taiwan came to visit since she is studying in the UK for a semester. And I hadn't seen her in over two years so it was great to catch up with her after such a long time!

I cannot believe how neglected this blog has been all year long. I just have the feeling that this year went by in a flash and so many things have happened. Almost one year ago I moved from Belgium to London indefinitely. And while the first couple of months were an emotional rollercoaster and things might not have turned out the way I expected them to I still haven't regretted it for a minute. I have a lovely group of friends here and of course also my boyfriend. So here is to another great year in London! But I am hoping that from now on I won't neglect this blog anymore because I really missed sharing all my bookish love.
